MultiGP
We field a chapter

MultiGP

The largest drone racing league in the world, and the published rulebook the whole sport flies to. RotorLab Racing is a chartered MultiGP chapter in Dubuque — the only one in Iowa — which makes us a member of the league, not a partner of it.

It is also where the software gets its hardest use. Every tool here started as a question somebody asked at a track, and the answers get checked at one most weekends.

Loras College

The drone engineering program at Loras uses the RotorLab Builder and testing suite. Students size an aircraft against real propeller and motor physics before a single part is ordered, then check those predictions against what the airframe actually did once it has flown.

That loop is the reason the engine exists, and it is the one thing a spreadsheet cannot close. Every equation behind it is published and re-derived in the browser, so the program can check the tool rather than take its word for anything — which is the right way round for teaching.

Snap Manufacturing

On-demand 3D printing — FDM and resin — and laser cutting, quoted instantly from the geometry of the file you upload rather than from a lookup table. Send a model and the price comes back from a real slice of it.

We partnered with Snap to help bring that quoting to their customers. Which means a mount you size against the numbers on this site can be quoted, made and in your hands without an engineering drawing in between.
