The license to the RotorLab software: what it grants and what it does not.
RotorLab.app: End User License Agreement
Effective date: October 9, 2026
This End User License Agreement ("EULA") is between you and RotorLab, Inc., a Delaware corporation with its headquarters in Dubuque, Iowa ("RotorLab"), and governs your use of the RotorLab.app software and applications, including any client tools, downloadable agents, sample code, and updates (the "Software"). The Software is licensed, not sold. By installing, accessing, or using the Software you agree to this EULA, which supplements the Terms of Service. Capitalized terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms of Service.
1. License grant. Subject to your compliance with this EULA and the Terms of Service and, for paid features, your active subscription, RotorLab grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable, revocable license to use the Software solely for your internal purposes and only as enabled through the Service.
2. Restrictions. You will not, and will not permit anyone to: (a) copy, modify, translate, or create derivative works of the Software except as expressly permitted; (b) reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software or attempt to derive its source code, models, or underlying ideas, except to the limited extent applicable law prohibits this restriction; (c) rent, lease, lend, sell, sublicense, distribute, or provide the Software to third parties as a service or otherwise; (d) remove or alter any proprietary notices; (e) circumvent or disable any usage limits, security, licensing, or authentication mechanisms, or access the Service other than through the interfaces and rate limits we provide; (f) use the Software to build a competing product or to benchmark it for a competitor; or (g) use the Software in violation of applicable law or the Acceptable Use and Drone Operations Policy.
3. Ownership. The Software and all intellectual property rights in it are and remain the exclusive property of RotorLab and its licensors. This EULA grants you no ownership interest and no rights other than the limited license expressly stated.
4. Updates. We may provide updates, upgrades, or modifications to the Software, which are governed by this EULA unless accompanied by separate terms. We are not obligated to provide updates or to continue to support any version.
5. Open-source and third-party components. The Software may include third-party or open-source components licensed under their own terms; those terms govern those components and, where required, are made available to you. To the extent of a conflict for a given component, that component's license controls for that component only.
6. Data and telemetry. The Software may transmit account, usage, and diagnostic information to operate the Service, as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. U.S. Government end users. The Software is "commercial computer software" and is licensed with only those rights provided to all other end users under this EULA.
8. Export compliance. You represent that you are not located in, and will not use or export the Software in violation of, any applicable export-control or sanctions laws, and that you are not a restricted party under such laws.
9. Term and termination. This EULA is effective until terminated. It terminates automatically if you breach it. On termination you must stop using and destroy all copies of any downloadable Software. Sections 2, 3, and 7 through 11 survive termination.
10. Disclaimer and liability. The Software is provided "AS IS" without warranty of any kind, and the disclaimers of warranty and limitations of liability in the Terms of Service apply fully to the Software and are incorporated here by reference.
11. General. This EULA is governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States of America and is subject to the same governing-law, dispute-resolution, and general provisions as the Terms of Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the remainder stays in effect.
